"Blessed are they that have been persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven", - taught Jesus Christ in the Commandments of Blessedness. The community of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church Canonical, persecuted and defamed, professes the teachings of Christ and continues to struggle for the legal right to develop the God's Church in Ukraine.
As it turned out, the so-called patriarch Filaret again ordered a slanderous program on the 5th Channel against our Church. The anchorwoman of the slanderous program tried to interview quickly the priests by phone, persuading that she wanted to make the true teleview. But when she found out that the priests would talk with her only in the presence of the attorney, she lost all desire to continue communication at once. Nobody of the correspondents of the TV channel visited the divine services of our Church and communicated with the faithful. But on October 11, this year, they in thievish way filmed the Patriarchal Metochion in Kyiv. These facts confirm the impartiality of the authors of the teleview-to-be.
That is why, on October 21, 2010, the clergy and the faithful of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church Canonical carried out the protest action near the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, trying in a legal way to protect the Church, to defend the honor and dignity and the right to the freedom of religion, guaranteed to every citizen of Ukraine by the Fundamental Law.
