RALLY OF THE UAOC-C NEAR THE SECRETARIAT OF THE PRESIDENT AND THE CABINET OF MINISTERS OF UKRAINE IN DEFENSE OF THE LEGAL RIGHT TO THE FREEDOM OF CONSCIENCE AND BELIEF

"Fight and you will win! God helps you..." - these words of Taras Schevchenko inspire the community of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church Canonical of Patriarch Moses to defend its legal right to the freedom of conscience and belief, guaranteed by the Constitution of Ukraine to every citizen.

On September 30, 2010, the clergy and the faithful yet again came to the Secretariat of the President and to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to testify by their own example that the discrimination and repressions against the God's Church continues in Ukraine.

The corrupted officials of the governmental authorities, legal and judicial bodies, try to exterminate the undesirable to them Church, executing the order of the so-called patriarch of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyivan Patriarchy Filaret (Myhailo Denysenko). The henchmen of Filaret beat and mutilate our priests and faithful, seize our temples under the auspices of the policemen and public officers of different posts.

"NO - to corruption! YES - to the legal democratic State - Ukraine!" chanted the protesters, hoping they will be heard by the chief executives of the State.
