On the Holy Trinity Day, the clergy and the faithful of the UAOC-C asserted their right to pray near the Holy Trinity church, seized by bandit group, headed by A.A. Malynych, the father of the Deputy Prosecutor of Uzhgorod, A.A. Malynych and with the assistance of the anathematized Filaret (M.A. Denysenko).
On Sunday morning, May 23, decisively disposed faithful of the UAOC-C, praying and having posters, protected by the corrupted police officers, went to their church territory and began the festive liturgy in the open air. After a while, the anathematized Filaret’s bishop Kyrylo arrived and entered the church, seized by the bandits. Then, the anathematized Andriy Malynych and Valeriy Velehitskyi went out of the church and tried to force their way through to the communion table with the Holy Gifts and impede the liturgy celebrating.
The fact of that the dynamic actions on the part of the invaders of the church were begun just after Kyrylo had arrived is the evidence of that Filaret (M.A. Denysenko) himself presides over this antichristian raid business. Everyone has its own interest in that: bandit Malynych has a pocket church with its accounts; Filaret has one more seized church unit. There is no place only for God in this bandit group.
When the time comes, God will judge them on their acts, on blasphemy, on the mockery at the sincere striving of the faithful for being devoted to the God’s affair.
But today, may these brutes bear responsibility for their offences in accordance with Ukrainian laws. By their actions, Malynych and Velehitskyi violated Article 35 of the principal law of the state – the Constitution of Ukraine , which guarantees every citizen to perform alone or collectively and without constraint religious rites and ceremonial rituals . They also violated Article 21 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations “, which emphasizes that “Religious services, rituals, ceremonies and processions shall be freely conducted in the religious buildings and the areas adjacent the buildings, in the pilgrimage sites, in the departments of religious organizations” .
These laws act within the entire territory of Ukraine, including the territory of the Holy Trinity church in Uzhgorod. But law is nothing for Filaret and his accomplices – father of Deputy Prosecutor of Uzhgorod, Malynych and other bandits. They violate the laws in public and freely. The connivance to these actions on the part of authorities is the fact of discrimination of the God’s Church.
May God help to defend His Church for Ukraine.
