On March 17, the clergy and the faithful of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church Canonical carried pot the protest action near the Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office, Predslavynska St. They also filed the application to the Public Prosecutor of Kyiv, Yuriy Udartsov concerning the illegal actions of the officials of Holosiyivskyi District Department of Central Administration of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Kyiv, S.M. Semykop and Y.P. Riabovol, the illegal actions of the representative of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Holosiyivskyi District of Kyiv, S.S. Lysenko and other officials of the law-enforcement agencies, who violate grossly the provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine, the UNO Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the European Convention on Human Rights in relation to our Church and its Primate – Patriarch Moses.
“Ukraine for people” – promised Viktor Yanukovych during the Presidential campaign. And we hope that his team will prove that Ukraine is a fortress, the sure defence for each person, not only for those who are in power. And the striking evidence of that can become the closure of the falsified case against Patriarch Moses and the restoration of lawfulness in Ukraine.
Thousands people in Ukraine, who were insulted by the law-enforcement agencies of Ukraine, did not find justice in the courts, lost their courage and lost their faith. Many of them are just afraid of standing on their civil rights. But we are believers. And as truly believers we know for sure, that we cannot put up with evil. That’s why we show our own example of such uncompromising struggle. We are firmly sure of that where faith is, there strength is. Be it known to all, who want to exterminate us and the people of Ukraine.
