November 28, the clergy and the faithful of UAOC-C took part in the mournful events on commemoration of the innocent victims of Holodomor in Ukraine of 1932-1933.
The genocide of the Stalin regime directed against the Ukrainian people concerned every family. The number of the innocent having the death of martyrs reaches 10 millions. It is pain both for every Ukrainian in particular and for the nation in general.
But it needs to be realized why this tremendous tragedy happened. The physical Holodomor it is the consequence, the start is the Holodomor spiritual. They exterminated priests, exterminated churches, exterminated the soul of the people. And people kept silence.
Today in the democratic Ukraine, the repressions against the priests faithful to God and their people continue. Today they defame the name and belie Patriarch Moses; they exterminate Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church Canonical. And people keep silence again.
The Ukrainians should become thoughtful. If they exterminate their spiritual leaders, what future will they have?
Maybe Patriarch Moses is the person needed today to the Ukrainian people?
Near the political leaders should be the spiritual ones.
We have to develop the spiritual society - the United Ukraine.
We address to all the people of the good will, to all the Ukrainians, to all who are not indifferent to the destiny of this land, who are not indifferent to the people loving this land - join us. And together we will manage to develop the spiritual Ukraine and will live happily on our beautiful land.
