PROTEST ACTION OF UAOC-C NEAR THE SECRETARIAT OF THE PRESIDENT AGAINST THE VIOLATION OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS

November 18, the clergy and the faithful of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church Canonical already for the second time filed the address to V.A. Yushchenko, the President of Ukraine and held the protest action near the building of the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine. In the address, were covered the blatant events that violated the guaranteed by the Constitution and the legislation of Ukraine the rights and freedoms of the Patriarch Moses as the citizen of Ukraine and were directed at the extermination of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church Canonical. In the address was emphasized that the faithful laid their hopes on Mr. President as on the consistent upholder of the rights and freedoms in Ukraine, the guarantor of the Constitution and the person not indifferent to the destiny of our long-suffering land and its true children. In conclusion of the address, the faithful called Mr. President to stand up for the defense of the God’s Truth and such figure of high spirituality as the Patriarch Moses.
