On Sunday, October, 25, after the Holy Liturgy, the lawyer and independent attorney spoke to the community of UAOC-Canonical on purpose of explanation of the legal aspects concerning illegitimate actions of the direction and journalists of ICTV television company.
The day before, ICTV television company announced the broadcasting of the programme included slanderous information aimed at the demolishing of clergyman, who has dedicated his life to service to God, salvation of the human souls and reviving the God'?s Church in Ukraine.
One of the branches of the state power is judicial power. And only the court can enter a judgment on one'?s guiltiness. No one can blame anyone before the judgment of the court, as in Ukraine the presumption of innocence acts.
The actions of ICTV television company is the direct violation of the laws of Ukraine.
The rights of Patriarch Moses are trampled upon by brutal means. And these are the illegal actions aimed at the demolishing of the person.
Having addressed to National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council, that delivered the license to ICTV television company, such answer was received - "it is the commercial channel".
Having addressed to the reporter Ganna Kibeniuk, who prepared the material, we received the answer that the programme had the scandalous format and they would show everything they wanted to.
Today money rules this world. And for those who turn people into heartless marionettes with the help of money, such highly spiritual like Patriarch Moses is threat.
We ask all the people of the good will to pray for Patriarch Moses, for the Church of God and for all the faithful who will stand up for the defense of truth in Ukraine.
