In November 2007, in France the Holy Synod of Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church canonical took place, presided over by His Holiness Patriarch Moses and with the assistance of:
Archbishop Nicolas of Paris and all France,
Archbishop Daniel of Mexico and All Latin-America,
Archbishop Luke of the Caribbean,
Archbishop Matthew of Cameroon and All Africa,
Chor-bishop Oleksandr of Zhytomyr, Vicar of Kyiv,
Chor-bishop Vasyliy of Fastiv, Vicar of Kyiv.
The bishops of our Holy Salvation Church arrived from different countries and continents. Different languages were heard during the meeting, but their hearts were in one spirit of love to Our Lord Jesus Christ, to Holy Church, to Holy Deed of salvation of human souls all over the world.
After the examination of canonical branch, Bishop Joseph was admitted to the episcopate of UAOC and appointed as bishop of Central Africa.
Also the Holy Synod came to a decision on readiness as for ordination of abbot Seraphim and abbot Clement for Episcopal service to Our Lord in His Holy Church. Abbot Seraphim was appointed as Chor-bishop of Ecatepec, Vicar of Mexico and abbot Clement appointed as Chor-bishop of Uz?s, Vicar of Paris.
