PALM SUNDAY IN MEXICO

The Orthodox Community of Xalapa commemorated the triumphant entrance of Christ into the royal city of Jerusalem. Archbishop Daniel of Mexico and All Latin-America censed and blessed the branches. After, he sprinkled the branches with holy water. During procession, Clergy and Faithful sang: By raising Lazarus from the dead before your pasion You confirmed the universal resurrection, O Christ God. Like the children with the palms of victory, we cry out to You, O Vanquisher of Death: "Hosanna in the highest! Blessed is He that comes in the Name of the Lord".
