THE BEGINNING OF WORLD WIDE SOBOR OF THE UKRAINIAN AUTOCEPHALOUS ORTHODOX CHURCH - CANONICAL AT KYIV

 


The future Patriarch Moisey who received the appriate call from God, blessed everyone and asked them to pray for him and to help him to bear the heavy cross placed upon him for the building of the Ukrainian Soborna Church of Christ.

 

 



The prayers for future Patriarch of Kyiv and All Russ-Ukraine Moisey for his strength and responsible service to the People of God. The Hierarchs imposed hands on Metropolitan Moisey asking the Holy Spirit, through their Apostolic Lines, to strengthen Metropolitan Moisey for Apostolic service.

 

The All-Church Sobor of the UAOC-C took place at Kyiv, Ukraine, June 17, 2005.

During the Sobor, the Hierarchs voted unanimously to elevate and enthrone Metropolitan Moisey as Patriarch of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church - Canonical.
